This policy shows the criteria that you need to follow when dealing with Volume Related Bonuses (VRB) for products in the Sunrise system.
What you need to do (as the Franchisee)
If your customer's vehicle is eligible for VRB, you need to make sure the appropriate, and correct, discounts are applied to your quote in the system. Therefore you need to carry out the following:
- Confirm with the dealer whether the purchase price negotiated is inclusive or exclusive of VRB. This will ensure you don't claim VRB twice.
- Tick the VRB box within your quote - this confirms that VRB is required. If you leave the box un-ticked then this confirms that VRB is not required and any bonuses will be removed. You cannot claim VRB for a vehicle where the price has been lowered (except through agreed discounts etc.)
- Check the Finance Details Sheet in the system before placing your order with the dealer. This will ensure that you have included all VRB information such as the Manufacturer's fleet code and validity period.
- Supply the dealer with the Manufacturer's fleet code or a campaign number if applicable. This will allow your customer to take advantage of any VRB or campaign taking place.
- Clarify whether the order date or registration date is the trigger for VRB. This will ensure that the vehicle is registered in time to receive the expected VRB.
Important note: Customer-related VRB is not available.
